The Good, the Bad and the Curious Illness:

• The film could be an eerie, tricky, well-crafted thriller, but somewhere in the middle it starts to get boring and the 150-minute runtime feels much longer than usual.

• The setting of the film is great and it really does send chills down your spine. From the isolated manor, to the empty hallways and broad smiling staff - it has the perfect creepy atmosphere for a horror movie.

• The movie tries too hard to be different and creative, making the whole story extremely weird and bizarre such as blending science and magic which makes everything seem way more complicated.

Trivia:

• Although the story takes place in Switzerland, the film was entirely shot in Germany.
