Watch this if you liked: “Death Duel”

The Good, the Bad and the Master Swordsman:

• The film is a nostalgic nod to the classical Chinese magic-and-martial arts genre known as Wuxia with a little mix of romance and an impressive display of sword fighting.

• Some of the humour in the film seems a bit awkward and the drama too is a bit forced, but the film is already considered one of the better Chinese classic remakes in recent years.

• The visuals of the movie however are very captivating and the CGI has little to no flaws, which is quite a rare feat for a Chinese movie.

Trivia:

• The movie is a remake of the 1977 film, "Death Duel".
