The Good, the Bad and the Freedom Fighters :

• Like most of Ding Sheng's films, this film too starts off slow in the beginning and only begins to pick up after 20 to 30 minutes of screen time.

• Though the director is known for creating character-driven stories, this time around he focuses more on the visuals including the visual gags.

• For genuine Jackie Chan fans, this film is a nice throwback to the actor's action comedies of the past, though it is still not as good as Jackie has toned down on the action and stunts due to his age.

Look Out For:

• Jackie's gag-fueled scene with his son Jaycee.

Trivia:

• This is Jackie Chan's third collaboration with director Ding Sheng.
