Passengers

Jim, a mechanical engineer from Denver who wants to leave Earth, and Aurora, a journalist from New York City who is interested in cosmic travel, are two passengers onboard a spaceship which will transport them to a new life on another planet. When their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination, they continue living their lives on the ship in luxury and start to fall for each other. Things take a turn when they discover the real danger their ship is in and they will need to save not only themselves but 5000 other sleeping passengers.

The Good, the Bad and the Space Romance :

• The movie is a timeless romance mixed with sci-fi thriller elements, and it is a journey definitely worth-taking.

• Despite having only two mains and two supporting cast, the film is absolutely enjoyable and immersive.

• The script is original and very well-written, and Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence work really well with each other.

• The stunning visuals and special effects as well as the amazing sound work certainly elevates the story.

Trivia:

• On the poster, under the title there are the symbols: dot dot dot, dash dash dash, dot dot dot , which is the morse code for S.O.S.
