b> The Good, the Bad and the Heroic Outlaw:

• Probably not the best Ben Affleck movie in the market, especially since all of his past works had received generally positive reception.

• Affleck's stoic, monotone portrayal of a gangster with a conscience is spot on, so are the performances of the other cast. However, some of the characters felt loose and unfulfilled as they suddenly vanished from the plot as the story goes on.

• The film has its moments but it moves at an extremely slow pace, paying a little too much attention to monotonous details which is meant to build up the suspense, but ends up just being dull and boring.

• Nevertheless, the film features some truly thrilling action sequences that are bound to satisfy many even if the plot itself isn't so awesome.

Trivia:

• Leonardo DiCaprio was considered for the lead role, but decided to produce this film instead.
