9 Nov – The Asian Television Awards has announced the nominees for its upcoming 25th edition, which is set to be held next year.

The Rebecca Lim-starring "The Bridge" has been nominated in eight categories, including two for Lim herself in the Best Actress In A Leading Role and Best Leading Female Performance – Digital categories. Co-star Bront Palarae also earns nominations in the male equivalent of both categories.



Meanwhile, fellow "The Bridge" cast members Wan Hanafi Su, Fikry Ibrahim, and Miller Khan are all nominated for Best Actor In A Supporting Role. Other categories the series is nominated in are Best Drama Series, Best Adaptation of an Existing Format, and Best Digital Fiction Programme / Series.

Though the Singaporean actress is listed under Malaysia, since "The Bridge" is mainly a Malaysian production, this doesn't mean Singapore is lacking in nominations. In fact, Singapore is nominated in 24 categories in total out of the 48 competing programming categories.
