4 Mar - It looks like fans of "Crazy Rich Asians" will finally be able to see their favourite characters again, but not on the big screen.

Warner Bros Television recently announced that it is turning the Kevin Kwan series of novels into a TV series instead, with Max developing it alongside director Jon M. Chu and co-writer Adele Lim.

It was reported that Lim will also serve as a showrunner, as well as executive producer under her 100 Tigers banner. Meanwhile Chu will also executive produce the project.

Prior to the news, Lim left the previously planned sequel of the hit 2018 movie after it was revealed that she was offered a fraction of salary that Warner Bros offered co-writer Peter Chiarelli.

Meanwhile, Chu, who helmed the film, was unable to commit to the project when he was hired to direct "Wicked".
