28 Aug – With the sequel of "The Expendables" doing so well in the box office charts last weekend, it is no surprise that there will be a third instalment, but not all the cast of the original and sequel will be returning for the third. According to Movie Web, Chuck Norris is one of them.
The actor, best known for his appearance in the action film "Way of the Dragon" in which he starred alongside Bruce Lee, had a somewhat major role as Booker in "The Expendables 2", a retired military operative on a mission to save his old teammates. However, the 72-year-old actor will be limiting himself to just this one appearance in the franchise.

According to Norris, he only agreed to do the film in order to catch up with old friends and having a singular appearance in the franchise makes it all the more special.
"Nope. Just number 2. This is it for me. Oh, yeah. This is very special. Just to be able to do the film with guys I've known for many, many years. To get a chance to get in and fight with them, it was a lot of fun. Plus getting a chance to meet Terry Crews, who I hadn't met before. And Jason Statham, whom I hadn't met before. It was fun just to do that."
Previously, Norris had said that he would not be in Simon West's ensemble action film if it was R-rated. It is not known if the eventual R rating for the overt violence, bloodshed, and swearing is what is keeping him away from further instalments in the franchise.
"The Expendables 2" was released on 16 August 2012 in Malaysia and Singapore, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Randy Couture and Liam Hemsworth.
