17 Feb – "Triumph in the Skies" stars Julian Cheung and Charmaine Sheh were surprised to learn that certain intimate scenes of their new film were cut from Malaysian cinemas. During the press conference of "Triumph in the Skies" held at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, reporters asked the two Hong Kong stars regarding the two steamy scenes that were cut out from Malaysian cinemas. Julian and Charmaine who only found out then, were quite shocked to hear it. "Really?" Julian responded in surprise when he learned about the news. "It was just acting."
The two scenes that are believed to have been cut out is a bathtub scene between Julian and Amber Kuo as well as a pool scene with Charmaine and Louis Koo. "It is a pity that all of you didn't get to see it," Julian joked to the media. "Maybe all of you should come to Hong Kong and watch it," Charmaine added.
"Triumph in the Skies" is the movie adaptation of the famous Hong Kong series by the same name. The film revolves around the romance lives of three different couples. Directed by Wilson Yip and Matt Chow, the film stars Francis Ng, Julian Cheung, Charmaine Sheh, Louis Koo, Sammi Cheng and Amber Kuo.
