The Good, the Bad and the King of Mahjong:

"King of Mahjong" starring Chapman To and Mark Lee is definitely an impressive work by director, Adrian Teh. The storyline is simple yet interesting. It's not just like any other typical mahjong movie where the main character will usually get defeated by another rival at the beginning of the show and he slowly improves his mahjong skills in order to compete in with his rival again in a big competition just for the title of being the King of mahjong.

The comedy film was able show some strong elements of love between Ah Fatt and his wife and his daughter.

However there are still some flaws that could've been better, notably where certain scenes tend to drag a bit too long. Other than that, the director did a great job in producing the first Singapore mahjong-themed movie instead of a typical zero to hero film.
