17 Feb – French actress Marion Cotillard has signed up to be in the 2012 Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises" alongside Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway, according to French Reports. The first confirmed information were spread by Batman-News after they quoted the award-winning actress' potential involvement in the movie by a French magazine named "Le Figaro" which had written that "Marion Cotillard will join the production this summer in Los Angeles, where she will share the bill with Anne Hathaway." The Oscar winning actress, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Guillame Canet in May, is expected to play Christian Bale's love interest in "The Dark Knight Rises" which will be directed by Christopher Nolan who have worked with the actress in the 2010 movie "Inception". With Anne Hathaway already cast as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, the only female role left would be Thalia Al Ghul, the daughter of the villain played by Liam Neeson in Nolan's first movie, "Batman Begins". "The Dark Knight" is scheduled for a tentative release nationwide in mid 2012.
