2 Jun – It's looking to be all set for "Kick Ass 2" as the three superheroes from the first are almost finalising their talks to make their return for the sequel. According to Beyond Hollywood, Aaron Johnson who plays as the titular character, is almost ready to make the announcement that he will be back to wield his tonfa sticks in his green suit once again. Meanwhile, talks had already begun for Chloe Moretz to spill blood all over again as Hit Girl and Christopher Mintz-Plasse to reappear as the Red Mist. There is also word saying that Nicolas Cage may be returning to the sequel in a cameo role. The sequel to the low-budget but commercially and critically successful movie would be directed by the hands of "Never Back Down" director Jeff Wadlow, from the script written by predecessor Matthew Vaughn, and is expected to carry on from its comic book narrative and a Hit Girl spin-off. No release date has yet been set for "Kick Ass 2".
