20 Jun – Following the success of "Aladdin", it was revealed that director Guy Ritchie has been given the responsibility to helm another Disney's live-action remake - the 1997 animated feature, "Hercules".
It boasts the voice talents of Tate Donovan as Hercules, James Woods as Hades, Danny DeVito as Hercules' trainer Philoctetes or "Phil", and Susan Egan as love interest Megura. Guy Ritchie, most known for his tough guy movies like "Snatch" and "RocknRolla", surprised many when he directed the family friendly "Aladdin". The film was a big hit when it was released in 2019, grossing over USD 1 billion worldwide.
