24 Mar - Rege-Jean Page is set to star in and produce another adaptation, though this time, it's the 19th century literature, "The Count of Monte Cristo".

Written by French author Alexander Dumas, the book tells the story of Edmond Dantès, a man wrongly imprisoned, who seeks revenge on those who wronged him, becoming the enigmatic Count of Monte Cristo.

The 1846 book has been adapted into various movies and TV shows throughout the century, including the 2002 film starring Jim Caviezel and Guy Pearce and the 1998 miniseries starring Gerard Depardieu.

Meanwhile, the "Bridgerton" star was most recently seen in 2025 spy thriller, "Black Bag" alongside Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett.
