10 Feb - He might have done various daredevil stunts throughout his years of filming "Mission: Impossible", but there is only one that caused Tom Cruise to pass out several times trying to complete it.

Speaking to Empire recently about his latest stunts on the upcoming eighth M:I movie, "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning", Cruise said that the stunt in question is featured in the official trailer of the movie.

The stunt had Cruise's Ethan Hunt dangling precariously off one of the wings of a 1930s Boeing Stearman biplane at 10,000 feet, hurtling across the air space in South Africa.

Said the 62-year-old actor, "When you stick your face out, going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you're not getting oxygen. So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit."

Meanwhile, director Christopher McQuarrie, who helmed the film, stated that there will be stunts in the movie that will melt audiences' brains.

"He would go out and do something that topped anything he had ever done before each day on set," said McQuarrie.

The film is set for release on 21 May.
