19 May – From game characters to movie stars, Angry Birds have now flown over to McDonald's Singapore one week before the movie is officially released nationwide. As part of a global partnership with Sony Pictures Releasing International, McDonald's Singapore has launched a range of new items inspired by the fluffy birds! The most noteworthy Angry Birds-themed item on the menu is the Super Red Burger which of course, is inspired by the main character of the movie itself, Red. The burger features a smoky chicken patty topped with an egg, lettuce, a slice of tomato, and fiery pepper mayo – all sandwiched between two red buns. Other Angry Birds-themed offerings include the Angry Birds Combo Box which includes a combination of Chicken McNuggets and Spicy Nuggets, or Jalapeno Chicken Nuggets along with Angry Birds Happy Meal collectibles.
There is also a brand new Lemon Custard McFlurry with Brownie Bites which is inspired by the Yellow Angry Bird, Chuck.
"The Angry Birds Movie" releases in Singapore on 26 May 2016. The movie features a voice-cast made up of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Sean Penn and more.
