3 Sep – Charlene Choi is relieved that her movie, "Fatal Visit", will finally be releasing in theatres.

As reported on Singtao Daily, the actress, who filmed the movie alongside Sammi Cheng nearly three years ago, acknowledged the long period of time it took for the film to finally be released.

"I look forward to its release, especially since I have been home most of the time over the past few months. I really hope I will be able to go to the movies. I haven't done so for a long time. I really missed going!" she said.

Meanwhile, director Calvin Poon stated that it felt like they were all racing for time, after the release date was postponed time and time again.

"I do think that the characters in this film will fit the current social and emotional climate," he added.

It is noted that despite yet to be released in cinemas, its stars Sammi Cheng and Charlene Choi were previously both nominated at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards in the Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress categories.

Adapted from a stage play, "Fatal Visit" tells the story of a woman discovering a secret of an old friend and the friend's husband after staying with them to escape her own love affair.
