19 Mar - Rakesh Roshan recently revealed that he will not be helming the fourth instalment of his son's superhero movie, " Krrish 4".

The filmmaker shared as much in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, saying that the day has come for him to "pass the baton".


"It's better I do it when I am in my senses, so that I can overlook the process as well and ascertain whether he's doing it correctly or not. Tomorrow, if I am not in my senses and I'll have to pass it on, I will not know what they are making," he said.

The director added that he is not at all sad to not direct the movie, relaying, "That's the chance we have to take. Also, there's no guarantee that if Rakesh Roshan directs Krrish 4, it'll be a blockbuster. It might be the other way round as well."

Nonetheless, the filmmaker, who has helmed the franchise since 2003's "Koi Mil Gaya", made no mention as to who will be replacing him in the director's seat.

No news as to when the film will commence production. Hrithik Roshan is currently busy filming his new action flick, "War 2".
