The Goonies

Mikey and Brandon Walsh are brothers who live in the "Goon Docks" neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon. When developers intend to build a golf course in the neighbourhood, forcing the siblings and their family to move out, the brothers decide to come out with a plan to save their homes from demolition. Upon doing so, they come across an old treasure map that can lead them to the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. They decide to gather their friends Chunk, Mouth, Andy, Stef, and Data, to set out on a quest to find the treasure in hopes of saving their neighborhood. But along the way, they are chased by a family of criminals, who also want the treasure for themselves.
