Watch this if you liked: The original “The A-Team”, “Rambo”, “Mission Impossible”

The A-Team goes silver screen!

The 1980's show which popularised Mr. T's Mohawk and his catchphrase "Pity Fool!" now sees new faces as the four fearless Army Rangers turned mercenaries, lead by Colonel Hannibal Smith (Liam Neeson) and a brand new storyline that is taking us back to the root of it all - how Colonel Smith, Lt. Face, Sgt. Baracus and Capt. H.M. Howling Mad Murdoch ended up as soldiers of fortune.

It starts off with a big bang and it does not stop there. Audiences will be mesmerised by the non-stop action involving a 4-WD, lots of Mexican authorities, and a trauma team's helicopter. Defying any logic, this fast-paced action serves to entertain all of you out there who have a penchant for war movies a la "Saving Private Ryan", tactics and deception a la "Ocean's Eleven" or "Mission Impossible" or even great effects in the likes of "The Dark Knight" without boring you with nondescript storyline.

What "The A-Team" tries to achieve is only to amuse audiences with their effects, cinematography and top-notch stunts, without forgetting the essence of the original series - Hannibal's cigar fetish and his favourite line "I love it when a plan comes together!", Face's charm, Murdoch's lunacy and Baracus' attitude. It also didn't disregard the catchphrases, and even successfully makes Neeson sounds like the original George Peppard.

Liam Neeson is entertaining as the resourceful Hannibal, and while you might hope to see Bradley Cooper playing other roles than a charming guy (even in an action movie, he is one!) and Jessica Biel who looks like she's just reprising her tough "Stealth"-like roles, it is Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Sharlto Copley as Baracus and Murdoch respectively that are worthy of your ticket price.

Also, do watch out for the 30 seconds segment before the credits roll. If you used to love the series, you will love what comes during those 30 seconds!
