Masterminds

This comedy drama is based on the true story of one of the biggest bank heists in history. In 1977, David Scott Ghantt, the driver of a Loomis Fargo & Company armoured car, agreed to help out with a heist. The criminal team succeeded in stealing 17 million dollars but the accomplices soon turned against each other. Ghantt and his co-conspirators were later tracked down and arrested.

Watch this if you liked: “Little Fockers”

The Good, the Bad and the Rich and Famous:

• The movie is basically just another dumb comedy that will make your sides hurt from laughing too much.

• Even though the movie makes no sense, it is still very enjoyable and most of the jokes and comedic scenes work.

• Featuring a cast of funny talents, the movie turns out to be not so bad despite having absurd plotlines, but that may be the whole point.

Trivia:

• Jim Carrey was first attached to play the lead role, but he dropped out and was replaced by Owen Wilson.
