The Good, the Bad and the Beach Boys:

• Definitely not a typical biography as it is a musical ride into the artistic, emotional and mental struggles of Brian Wilson - leader and co-founder of The Beach Boys.

• The amazing performance by Paul Dano and John Cusack are absolutely mesmerizing and award-worthy, as both actors perfectly capture Wilson's charisma, attitude, behaviour and complexity.

• The honesty behind the film's portrayals and the creative process is remarkable, original, insightful and compelling which resonates with many people emotionally.

Trivia:

• Many scenes were shot at their original real life locations, including the Studio 3 room of United Western Recorders and the site of the Wilson family's childhood home in Hawthorne, California.
