47 Meters Down

Two sisters Kate and Lisa go on a Mexican vacation and get the opportunity to go cage diving to view the Great White sharks. But their fun trip turns into a nightmare when the observation cage breaks free from the boat and plummets to the bottom of the ocean floor. Trapped 47 meters underwater with less than an hour of oxygen left in their tanks, the sisters must find a way to get back to the surface.

Watch this if you liked: “The Shallows”

The Good, the Bad and the Great Whites:

• While the film is unrealistic if you were to put some real science and math into it, the story itself is entertainingly simple and intensely suspenseful.

• The movie is filled with so much heart-pumping adrenaline tension, you can almost feel as though your own oxygen is running out as well.

• It's definitely worth going to the cinema to watch because it gives you the whole experience like you are actually underwater.

• Definitely not suitable for those who have claustrophobia.

Trivia:

• Actresses Mandy Moore and Claire Holt learned how to scuba dive for this movie.
