The Good, the Bad and the Icy Adventure:

• Like all Doraemon movies, Doraemon and his friends go on another new adventure, meeting new friends, and facing new threats, and an important lesson will be highlighted at the end of the movie.

• Unlike other previous movies, this movie doesn't exactly focus on the character development and relationship between Doraemon and the gang, its just a fun adventure in a new world.

• The art has improved a lot, along with the 3D CGI effects in the background, making the journey more fun and colourful.

• Since director Atsushi Takahashi used to be an assistant director on Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award-winning "Spirited Away," it seems to have influence the movie a bit as there is an environmental undertone to it, although it is not so obvious.
