Hong Kong police negotiator, Le Chung-chi`s worst nightmare has just become a tragic reality. His daughter, Lee Wing-chi has gone missing. The 16-year-old girl was last seen during her trip to Pattaya, Thailand and Lee decides to go to there to find her himself. In Pattaya, Lee is assisted by a local detective, Chui Kit and his colleague, Tak. He also encounters an American gangster who calls himself Sacha. In his investigation, Lee discovers a relation between his daughter`s disappearance and the local mayoral candidate`s upcoming heart transplant. Lee soon uncovers an organ trafficking syndicate and somehow ends up being labelled an international criminal.

The Good, the Bad and the Black Market:

• The movie is a mixed bag, meaning that although it is enjoyable, it is not exactly a great film.

• The movie has great action sequences and performances from the cast, but all those were hindered by several shortcomings like visible and obvious wire work, forgotten heavy injury, and an abundance of coincidence.

• The movie jumps from contrivance to convenience and back again, and that seems to be the genre convention of it, but it gets annoying very easily.

• Nevertheless, Louis Koo deliveres some really impressive action in the movie which is pretty rare, as he's not usually associated with physically challenging movies, and he even kept up with Tony Jaa.
