Middle-aged security guard and murder suspect Masilamani, who works at a well-known sports and recreation club, is held in an investigation room as the police question him. His young child, a terminally ill boy, sits outside waiting. As he talks in riddles, narrating his non-linear story, his character is the only person that appears onscreen throughout the movie while the rest are made known only via voiceovers.
