The movie tells of how Scooby and Shaggy first met and become lifelong friends, as well as how they come to form the famous Mystery Inc. with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne. It also follows the gang on their most challenging and biggest mystery yet, which involves them stopping ghost dog Cerberus from being unleashed upon the world. They soon learn of Scooby`s secret legacy and epic destiny as they try to stop the global "dogpocalypse".
