10 Dec – No matter how you find bad director M. Night Shyamalan to be, you cannot help but check out his latest films as they get released just so you can surprise yourself or die laughing at the level of cheesiness. A trailer for "Devil" director is set to make its debut on 11 December online, and while we have no clue as to how much footage will be revealed, we know that the film is set 1000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape from Earth and make their new home on Nova Prime. Legendary General Cypher Raige (Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (Jaden Smith). His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. He gets his chance when an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, leading them to crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. Kitai must then trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon as his father lies dying in the cockpit. Originally known as "1000 A.E.", "After Earth" is currently slated for release in Malaysia and Singapore on 6 June 2013.
