Southeast Asian Film Festival is on this April


The Southeast Asian Film Festival starts from 10th April to 3rd May.

18 Mar – The Southeast Asian Film Festival is just around the corner, bringing cinematic works from all around Southeast Asia to be showcased in Singapore for the public.

According to the Singapore Art Museum website, the festival will start from 10th April onwards up to 3rd May, and will be held at the Moving Image Gallery.

The list movies that will be screened during the film festival will be films between released between 2013 to 2014, originating from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Southeast Asian Film Festival aims to reflect the diversity of cultural issues from the region, through film genres such as action, comedy, documentary, drama and more.

Other than that, the Festival will play host to post-screening discussions with several veteran directors, including Thai Tom Waller who directed "The Last Executioner" and also Singaporean filmmaker Daniel Hui who directed "SNAKESKIN".

Tickets are available now with only SGD10 for each film screening on the event day.
