No "home" theme this time, "Spider-Man 4" unveils official title

"Spider-Man 4" now has its official title
3 Apr - The upcoming fourth Spider-Man will no longer just be "Spider-Man 4", as it has now found an official title.

And unfortunately, the word "home" is not in the title.

Tom Holland recently shared the news in a video that was played at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, revealing that the fourth "Spider-Man" film will now be called, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day".
The film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton

The film will be directed by "Shang-Chi" helmer, Destin Daniel Cretton for the first time, with the director stating that he has been a lifelong fan of that particular Marvel superhero.

The title, it was revealed, was in reference to a 2008 storyline that takes place after an event that leads to everyone forgetting who Spider-Man was, which has similar storyline to the last Spider-Man movie, "No Way Home".

It is the only Tom Holland-starring Spider-Man movie to not have a "home" in its name, following "Homecoming" (2019), "Far from Home" (2019) and "No Way Home" (2021). The film is penned by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna.
