2 Apr – All students aged 18 and above are in for a treat. There will be a special screening of Ken Kwek's upcoming movie, "Unlucky Plaza", just for students, at Shaw Theatres Bugis this month.

Student passes need to be presented upon purchase and the tickets can then be bought at a discounted price of SGD6.50 each. Tickets are now on sale at Shaw Bugis Box Office.

The screening details are as follows:
Venue: Shaw Theatres Bugis
Date: 13 April (Monday)
Time: 2.10pm

The multi-character dramatic thriller debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. It was initially banned by Singapore's Board of Film Censors but after cuts were made, the movie is now ready to be shown on the big screen.

The movie follows a man named Onassis Hernandez, who was once a proud owner of Singapore's most popular Filipino restaurant. But a food poisoning scandal triggered by one of his chefs has left him on the brink of bankruptcy. After getting tricked in a financial scam, he loses it and takes a group of people hostage in a millionaire's bungalow.

"Unlucky Plaza" enters cinemas this 16 April.
