4 Aug – Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, one of Hollywood's most high profile best buds, have found another project to work together on. This time Affleck will be taking on the directing role while Damon will be starring, according to Deadline, with both producing through their Pearl Street company. The true-crime movie, which is being developed over at Fox with "Deadpool" writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese set to pen the script, will be based on Jeff Maysh's "How an Ex-Cop Rigged McDonald's Monopoly Game and Stole Millions" that was published in The Daily Beast several days ago. It follows ex-cop Jerome Paul Jacobson, who allegedly rigged the McDonald's Monopoly game and stole over USD24 million.
