17 Jun – Brad Pitt is set to produce a new movie with MGM based on a novel by Chandler Baker through his company, Plan B Entertainment. The upcoming movie, titled "The Husbands", follows Nora Spangler, who finds herself dragged into a mess after being introduced to a group of high-powered women with supportive husbands while she goes house-hunting in a suburban neighbourhood called Dynasty Ranch.
Pitt's production company has produced several successful titles over the years, with one of the most recent ones, the Lee Isaac Chung film "Minari" being nominated Best Picture at the 93rd Academy Awards. It is also currently developing Chung's next movie as well as other adaptations including Miriam Toews' novel "Women Talking", M.T. Anderson's novel, "Landscape With Invisible Hand", and Ta-Nehisi Coates' novel, "The Water Dancer".
