11 Jun – "Friends" star Lisa Kudrow is set to make her Disney+ debut in the musical comedy, "Better Nate Than Ever".

The show, to be produced by March Platt of "Lala Land" and "Cruella" fame, will be based on Tim Federle's novel of the same name, which tells the story of a 13 year-old Nate Foster who sneaks off with his best friend Libby to a major musical audition in the Big Apple after not being cast in their school play.

Kudrow is set to play the role of Nate's long-lost aunt Heidi, who turns his adventure upside-down.

The movie is an adaptation of Tim Federle's novel of the same name

No information as to who will play Nate and Libby, though the young actors will be required to have the ability to sing. Kudrow, however, will not be singing in the movie. So no hopes of a "Smelly Cat" rendition here.. sobs.

Kudrow was recently seen appearing alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and the rest of her "Friends" co-stars for a reunion special that was aired in late May.

The actress also voices the character of Honey the poodle in the Fox series "HouseBroken" and plays Maggie Naird in the Netflix comedy series, "Space Force".

Kudrow previously appeared with the rest of "Friends" cast on the reunion special
