16 Jan - Amid rumours of divorce, Jessica Simpson recently confirmed that she and husband Eric Johnson are no longer living together.

In a statement released to the media, the singer expressed, "Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them."


"We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family," she added.

The two were last seen together in photos during their family trip to Mexico in April last year.

Simpson, who was married to singer Nick Lachey in the past, tied the knot with the former professional NFL football player in 2014 after four years of relationship.

The two are parents to three children: Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 5.
