"Laapaata Ladies" sweeps most categories at International Indian Film Academy Awards 2025

12 Mar - "Laapataa Ladies" emerged the big winner at the International Indian Film Academy Awards (also known as the IIFA Awards), sweeping 10 categories in the recently held ceremony.

The Kiran Rao film won not only Best Picture and Best Direction for the filmmaker, but also Best Actress for Nitanshi Goel, Best Supporting Actor for Ravi Kishan, Best Original Story and Best Female Debut for Pratibha Ranta.


It also won Best Music Director (Ram Sampath), Best Lyrics (Prashat Pandey), Best Screenplay, and Best Editing.

On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan won Best Actor for his performance in "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3".

The IIFA 2025 was held on 8 March in Jaipur and concluded on 9 March.
