The Cine Lounge has been refurbished as a waiting area, equipped with sofas, chairs, pool tables, a juke box, vending machines, plasma TVs and free Internet surfing for those who prefer to book their movie tickets online rather than queuing or calling by telephone.
On the opening night of the new halls (23 May), a special screening of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" was held for all invited guests as a token of appreciation for their ongoing support for Cathay Cineplexes.
