28 Sep – The wait is over as the new Cathay Cineplexes cinema at Parkway Parade has opened for business today! Located on the seventh floor of the mall, the new addition marks its eighth outlet in Singapore. The new cinema boasts seven halls in total, which are able to seat more than 800 cinema patrons. With today being its official first day of business, Cathay Cineplex Parkway Parade is giving out special promotions and free gifts to its customers such as free goodie bags, free-flow soft drinks, and an SGD8 movie ticket deal. Aside from the new location, Cathay Cineplexes currently has seven other cinemas located at The Cathay, Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, Causeway Point, AMK Hub, Downtown East, West Mall and JEM.
