17 Mar - A few days after confirming his relationship with non-showbiz girlfriend Gauri Spratt, Aamir Khan is now more comfortable bringing his new woman along to family events.

On 15 March, a new image of Gauri went viral on social media, showing the woman in a lavender kurta that she paired up with a pair of black leggings. The photo was reportedly taken at the actor's pre-birthday celebration in Mumbai, which also had ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta in attendance.


Many took to the comments to sing praises for Gauri's beauty, with many saying that the Tamilian-Irish beauty resembles several Bollywood actresses.

It was back on 13 March that Aamir surprised many by confirming his new relationship at a media event, saying that they have actually been dating for 18 months. He said, "We are committed now, and we felt we were secure enough in each other to tell you guys. And this is better, I won't have to hide things now."

"I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her, besides we won't have to keep hiding. She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night," he said.

Aamir also said that Gauri, who is the daughter of a salon owner in Bengaluru, brought peace in his life. It was revealed that she is 46-years-old and is presently working with Aamir's production house and has a 6-year-old son.

"I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was," he said.
