The story is about a Marathi girl named Meenakshi Deshpande (Rani Mukerji) who falls in love with a Tamil artist named Surya (Prithviraj). Mostly, she is entranced by his good smell, and is determined to woo him. It is a quirky and funny love story set against the backdrop of a Marathi-Tamil cultural clash. This film is also Malayalam actor Prithviraj`s Bollywood debut.
