Watch this if you liked: “Barbie” movie franchise

The Good, the Bad and the Girl Power:

• Like any other Barbie film, everything is in endless bright colours of pink, purple and blue and some assortment of other vibrant colours, good enough to glue the little girls' eyes on to the big screen.

• The plot is a bit cliche and predictable with a little bit of reference to "Spiderman" and "Superman", but it is to be expected since the light-hearted film is aimed at young children who may really enjoy it.

• The plus point is that the film shows a vast improvement compared to other Barbie features as it inserts a few amusing pop culture references which at times can be funny, bright and smart.
