The Good, the Bad and the Grandpa Guard:

• There isn't as much action in the movie as one hopes for from action star Sammo Hung, but it is a heartwarming tale of family love.

• Despite the abundance of action stars in the cast, most of them are however just cameo appearances, meaning fans will be left wanting for fight scenes between them and Sammo Hung.

• The storyline is simple enough to follow and it is a light-hearted movie (though be ready for some teary moments). Despite the slow build-up, the action scenes showcasing Sammo Hung's sharp moves more than make up for it.

Trivia:

• Jackie Chan was initially set to play Andy Lau's role but declined due to schedule conflict and his son's drug arrest.
