Cooties

When a mysterious virus hits an isolated elementary school in a small town, affecting only the prepubescent population, it transforms them into a swarm of violent feral monsters. The virus centralises in the elementary school and the infected children have the teaching staff under siege. The remaining teachers then decide to work together, under the lead of a hapless substitute teacher. The motley band of teachers realise that they must do the unthinkable if they hope to survive.

Watch this if you liked: “Detention”, “Evil Dead”

The Good, the Bad and the Undead Children:

• The film seems to be a horror comedy that aims at younger viewers, but the grotesque and disgusting elements in the film might be unsuitable for them.

• However, the film instead of being like every other zombie flick, decides to use children as the antagonists, which is quite an interesting approach.

• The film is pretty humorous and entertaining in its own way, as it makes for a great B-movie body horror style film.

• Overall, the film is something horror comedy lovers would appreciate, especially if you're a fan of the "Evil Dead" franchise.

Trivia:

• The picture in the beginning of the film inside Clint's (Elijah Wood) bedroom is actually a real picture of Elijah Wood when he was younger.
