The Good, the Bad and the Divided Love:

• From Saoirse Ronan's unforgettable character, to director John Crowley's impeccable direction of a beautiful story about love and self-discovery, "Brooklyn" is an amazing film for many reasons.

• Despite being surrounded by renowned cast members like Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent, Ronan shines more than anyone else in this film with her delicate and sincere portrayal of her character.

• The film is a simple tale filled with conflicting emotions, but it proves that you don't need excessive actions, twists and effects to tell a wonderful and inspiring story.

Trivia:

• Jim Broadbent was the first choice to play Father Flood, while Julie Walters was also the first choice to play Madge Kehoe.
