Watch this if you liked: “Ghost World”

The Good, the Bad and the Life Deconstruction:

• The film is very refreshing as it is not your typical light-hearted romantic comedy but quite the opposite; as it is engagingly powerful and realistically close to life.

• There were some heavy and sensitive issues tackled by this film, making this movie very thought-provoking as they were all handled professionally.

• Each character is authentic and the drama feels real, but it is not too overly dramatic as it is balanced by the comedy.

• Jake Gyllenhaal truly inhabits his character and delivers a remarkable Oscar-worthy performance.

Trivia:

• The screenplay of the film was featured in the 2007 Blacklist - a list of the "most liked" unmade scripts of the year.
