Watch this if you liked: “Cars” franchise

The Good, the Bad and the Last Dream:

• The "Cars" franchise has always been lack of the kind of emotional punch we know Pixar is capable of, and sadly, the third installment couldn't make up for what they are lacking.

• The movie is basically another version of the first installment, but unfortunately it doesn't have the "heart" of the original film.

• Though the movie is a slight improvement from "Cars 2", it still doesn't do justice to the whole franchise and it becomes quite a letdown, considering that it is the last from the trilogy.

• The film looks like a moving work of digital art with all the brilliantly staged action which may appeal to children, but then again, their patience might have also been tested from all the exposition-heavy dialogue.

Trivia:

• This is the third film of the "Cars" series, which is the second Pixar series to ever have a third installment, the other being the "Toy Story" series.
