The Good, the Bad and the Separated Siblings:

• The movie is very entertaining, and most of the time it is due to Vijay's strong presence.

• The action sequences are nicely staged thanks to the well-scripted action choreography and amazing visuals.

• The movie has a few flaws, but they were all overshadowed by Vijay's charismatic performance.

• The movie also has a lot of unnecessary characters who were there just to make the story longer.

• Nevertheless, the movie has a meaningful message directed towards the government and people, and it is truly something for us to ponder.

• Running for three hours, the movie feels very lengthy with a lot of deja vu moments.

• Not much to comment about the music. With A.R. Rahman spearheading soundtrack, you know that it will be in good hands.

Trivia:

• The title design for the film was made so that when flipped upside down, it would look like it spelled 'Vijay', the name of the lead star.
