The Garden Of Evening Mists

Teoh Yun Ling, a young law graduate who is embittered by the atrocities of World War II in Malaya, seeks solace in the tea plantations of Cameron Highlands. There, she meets the mysterious Nakamura Aritomo, owner of Yugiri, the only Japanese garden in Malaya. As he teaches her the art of Japanese gardening and helps her build a garden in memory of the younger sister she lost in the Japanese war camp, love blossoms between them, leading to a forbidden love affair.
