Knives Out

Detective Benoit Blanc is called in along with the police to investigate the mysterious death of renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey, who is found dead at his remote mansion the day after his 85th birthday party. The police will have to question everyone in Thrombey`s extended dysfunctional family that the man had invited to attend his party, in hopes of reuniting them all. As everyone is a suspect, the detective will have to go through various lies and red herrings to uncover the truth.
