4 Aug – In the August interview of Playboy magazine, "127 Hours" actor James Franco reveals that he and his long-time girlfriend, actress Ahna O'Reilly had spilt after he had decided to continue his education, according to a report published on the Globe and Daily website. "It's over, we'd been living together in Los Angeles, and then came to New York to go to school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her," the actor confessed. The multi-talented 33-year-old actor is currently in the midst of completing his doctorate and promoting his new film, "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes". The movie which is set in present day San Francisco, sees James Franco playing a scientist who's working on a cure for Alzheimer's by testing it on apes. The man's experiment with genetic engineering leads to the development of intelligence in apes. Not long after, the start of a war for domination between the human and ape species takes place. "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" is now showing at cinemas in Singapore!
